A special thanks to those of you who attended our Brew-Off in the Den, it was a lot of fun and we are sure to do it again next year. I did have some great pictures but unfortunately they got deleted so I couldn’t have them posted on our site. (A pint of beer was blocking most of your faces anyway!)

I wanted to congratulate all of our members who gave us their wonderful beer to judge. There were a lot of creative beers and all the judges were happy with the variety, and quality of your hard work. I promise next year we will give more advance notice of the event to give everyone ample time to prepare!

I wanted to thank all of judges who took time out of their day to make our event more official, they were;

Congratulations to our 1st place winners Bob & Kim Barrett For their Amarillo IPA, it was fantastic. Those Barretts are some overachievers aren’t they? They will be coming to brew with Duncan sometime in the near future. ( I will try to get pictures and not have them deleted).

Congratulations to our 2nd place winner Alex Pettit for his Clark Kent Mild. He did an excellent job and was only a few points away from tying the Barretts.

All in all the judges had a great time tasting all the beer and talking with everyone, and we look forward to seeing everyone sometime in the near future!
